What:  YP Mission Philippines

  •  Nueva Ecijah (June 12-20, 2018)
  •    Palawan  (June 21-26, 2018)

Why (Goals and Objectives):  In fulfilling the Great Commission the YP Missions will…
  • Facilitate connection of a local church to its community and express the love of Jesus by reaching out to nearby local schools.   
  • Encourage the churches (partners and prospective) in serving the Lord and reaching out their community and connect them to Church Planting efforts by the NESOBCA and SBC Philippines. 
  •  To explore and learn from the cultures and ways of the Philippines

To help better coordinate this trip, possible teams can be formed.  Please text me at (808) 741-6294 your choice of two or three to be involve in.   

1.  Ticketing Team:  Scouts with the travel agency of the best fares and ensures the teams flight arrangements from MNL to HNL (vice versa) and MNL to Palawan (vice versa). Solicits from all participants their schedule to ensure accommodation and best prices.   

2.  Rides and Transportation Team:  Ensures transportation arrangements are made for all events and commitments.  Coordinates with all teams that are involve in budgeting for transportation and teams that have checklists to transport

3.  Audio and Video Team:  To secure audio and video needs for presentations and performances.  Wireless Microphones, Microphones, Sound System for school visitations & Concerts.  


4.  Planning Team Nueva Ecijah:  Coordinates with team leaders to  ensure that planned activities are well executed and coordinated with to meet expected goals and objectives. 

5.  Planning Team Palawan:  To ensure that planned activities are well planned and coordinate with all departments to ensure goals and objectives are met

6.  Presentation and Musical Team: Coordinates with the whole team to ensure that proper repertoire are prepared for each presentation.  Prepares YP participants to be in their optimum level of performance.  Coordinates clothing and stage presence of participants.  Communicates to all team the scheduled rehearsals.

7.  Discipleship Team:   Ensures that devotions and spiritual lives of each participants and parents are being met.   Coordinates with Budget Team to ensure that students are connecting with their donors in practical ways.

8.  Photography/Video/Documentation Team:  Stores the Catalogued and documented materials, photos and videos of the whole trip. Prepares a video presentation to be presented to the donor and posted online.  Prepares a video presentation to be presented to churches back in Hawaii when YP tours on August 2018.  

9.  Medical and Homeland Team:  This team ensures that each participant are prepared and ready medically and have fulfilled homeland security requirements to travel abroad.  They coach travelers of their baggage and ensure safety every time travel occurs.   

10.  Supplies / Gift giving Team:  Ensures that all school visitations and incidental visitations especially with town officials are well resourced from school supplies to gifts.

11.  Budget / Finance Team:  Collects finance and accounts for all the incoming and expenditures of the trip.   They will work with a budget.  Ensures proper expenditures for the team’s flight, transportation, meals and lodging.   R & R such as entrance fees must be coordinated with parents and budgeted properly.   Counsels families of YP how to extend their monies to this trip.   Counsels families on how to deal with finance overseas. 

12.  Local Team:  This team will ensure that YP decisions, scheduling and budgeting are the wisest choice in given situations.  They are sounding board, liason and teams that will help coordinate tasks. 

13.  R & R / Local Arts Team:  Ensures that each opportunity are taken to expose the team in local customs and culture.  Coordinates with Budgeting team and transportation team and prioritizes opportunities.

14.  Meals and Housekeeping and Groceries:  Coordinates with budget and local teams to ensure that appropriate meals and local ground rules, sanitation and laundry needs are met.
